THE NEW NORMAL IN CARING FOR YOU

Out of an abundance of caution for our staff, our guests and our community, we have worked extremely hard to make our environment a safe space. It is our desire to uphold the safety, sanitation, and wellness steps you deserve. With that being said, we wanted to give information about our in-depth policies and procedures for before, during, and after each appointment.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

 

A Covid-19 waiver/ health check is required in order to receive a service and MUST be submitted prior to your appointment time. Complete the waiver here.

Please be considerate of our guests, team members and their families. If you aren’t feeling well or have been in the presence of someone who isn’t feeling well please DO NOT COME!  With the restrictions placed on our business and the demand for appointments, please be courteous and cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance so we can fill the appointment time . Thank you for understanding and valuing our technician’s time.

Please do not be late to your appointment. We need time to sanitize in between clients. If you are late, even by a few minutes, you may be asked to reschedule. This will be at the salon’s discretion. Please understand that if you are late, your service provider may not have time to execute your service and then prepare their workspace for the next guest. You appointment will end on time. Any services that were not able to be performed because you were late will be reschedule for another time.

Please come alone to your appointment. No additional people will be allowed into the building due to the occupancy limit rule from the State of Illinois. One parent may accompany one minor child.

 

When you arrive at the salon, please wait outside or in your car. Text us to be checked in. As soon as we are ready for you, we will respond to your text for you to come in. This will eliminate extra people in the salon at one time and allow us to clean our work area.

 

As mandated by the State, anyone with a fever above 100.4 will be asked to re-schedule.

 

It is mandated by the State Department of Public Health that you wear a mask for the entire time you are in the salon. Masks must be fully intact with no obvious tears or holes and must tightly cover the mouth, nose and  chin.  It would be best for guests to use a disposable mask if they are concerned with hair color stains on their mask. We can provide you with a disposal mask should you need one.

 

Please only bring in what can fit on your lap. Purses, bags and/or extra coats/sweaters are not permitted.

 

Please bring in only your form of payment and cell phone. No items will be permitted to be placed on stations or in treatment rooms.

Sorry, we are unable to offer beverage service at this time. 

 

During your shampoo experience, we ask that you limit talking at the shampoo bowl.

 

Always maintain social distancing (6') between other guests and staff at all times

 

Please refrain from handling our retail displays or products. ALL bottles have been sanitized and we'll have a designated team member that will be happy to assist you in retrieving any products you may need with gloves on.

 

Due to capacity restrictions, guests must leave the premises as soon as their services and transactions are complete.

 

WHAT WE ARE DOING

Every member of our team has become Barbicide® certified. Barbicide® is known worldwide as the ultimate product for EPA registered disinfection in salon and spas. 

 

Every team member has a checklist of sanitation protocols to perform before and after each guest and our work areas and treatment rooms are sanitized between every guest. 

 

We are sanitizing high touch and high traffic areas of the salon every 15-30 minutes with Barbicide®, EPA approved broad-spectrum disinfectant. 

 

All card readers will be cleaned and sanitized between each use. And, at the end of each day, we are resetting and sanitizing the salon in depth to prepare for the next day.

 

We have installed all new sanitizing stations throughout the salon and have touch-less faucets in our restrooms.

To follow social distancing guidelines, we have spaced each hair station 6′ apart. In areas where social distancing is not possible, we have installed plexiglass barriers. 

As always our styling capes, towels and treatment linens are used only once. 

 

We will be washing our hands and using hand sanitizer between each client and asking the client to do the same before starting your service.

 

As mandated by our State, we are checking all client and staff temperatures upon arrival. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees F will not be allowed to enter the salon.

We ask that you use hand sanitizer or wash your hands in the restroom once in the salon and again before leaving.

We ask that you remain at your service providers chair or treatment room unless directed otherwise by a team member.

We will not be having you change into color or spa robes at this time. Please wear an older T-shirt and/or something that has a lower neckline as we cannot guarantee that color will not get on it. 

Services are by appointment only. Walk-ins will not be accepted at this time.

No handshakes or hugs for us at this time. Physical contact with our guests will be limited to what is absolutely necessary to provide scheduled services.

We are requiring our  team members to wear a face mask or face covering at all times while in the salon.  

We will not be offering beverages or magazines at this time. 

We are accepting cash, credit and Apple Pay. In an effort not to crowd the front desk/check-out area, towards the end of your service, a member of our guest care team will begin the checkout process in the styling chair, nail room or treatment room. They will schedule your next visit and gather any at home care products you wish to take home with you. They will then finish up with processing your credit card at the desk on your way out of the salon. We will do our best to make the entire checkout process as contactless as possible. Prepayment may be needed to secure certain services and/or appointments.

As always, gratuities can be charged to your credit card or paid in cash. We will ensure your stylist receives it and you are acknowledged.

A $5 sanitation fee will be added to the total charge of your services; in order to adhere to strict sanitation guidelines, we are required to spend additional costs and time sanitizing between each appointment. 

Please know how very important providing excellent service is to us. Our primary goal is to provide you with the salon service you have come to expect in a safe and sanitary environment. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have established these guidelines to ensure the safety of guests as well as our team.  

Please understand that if you cannot follow these guidelines, you will be asked to leave.  We are very appreciative of your friendship and business, but we will not compromise the safety of other guests, the team, and their families to accommodate any request outside of these established guidelines. 

We sincerely appreciate your support. This situation has certainly brought on some challenges, but we are determined to rise to the occasion with a positive attitude and high level of professionalism. As these circumstances are ever changing, they will require our constant attention and reevaluation. We ask that you please be patient with us as we make any necessary adjustments.
